We grew up with the idea that breakfast should never be skipped. However, new studies show that people who eat breakfast regularly consume more calories throughout the day (260 extra calories) and that people who DON'T TAKE BREAKFAST achieve that their appetite does not increase throughout the day, being able to accumulate a deficit of 0.44 kg. (see in https://www.bmj.com/content/364/bmj.l42)
So, should I or should I not eat breakfast to lose weight?
The key is to achieve a balance, to know what you eat and HOW MUCH you eat until it becomes a HABIT. Not every day is the same, there will be some days when you want to have breakfast and others not. However, the days you have breakfast, take advantage of nourishing yourself with quality food, OATS, SEEDS LIKE CHIA, GOOD SOURCE OF FAT, LIKE AVOCADOamong others. On the contrary, on the days you don't eat breakfast, hydrate well. Don't stop eating, on the contrary you have a world of nutritious food waiting for you.
